# Why do I need to verify my Trakx account?

 After a simple verification process, you will be able to:

*   Deposit funds in fiat using credit/debit card or wire transfer in EUR or GBP (those funds are converted into USDC stable coin which is the benchmark currency used for all our indices)
    
*   Trade our Crypto Indices (using USDC)
    
*   Withdraw funds (in USDC)
    


This process will require the below documents:

*   Passport
    
*   Proof-of-address
